From AI News Site to Product Development

After the 2024 elections, I set out to build a JavaScript/Database-backed news site to create a personal space where I could ingest and analyze news independently. Using the GDELT Data Project and AI models, I explored how different models could examine multiple stories and extract only the facts.

Developing an autonomous AI-driven news site came with many challenges, which led to several programming solutions. I thought, why not take it a step further and build front-ends for these backend tools? That’s how products like QA Retriever, Image Retriever, and SuperConvert were born.
